    Since the Manial Palace Museum is now an administrative dependency of the Ministry of Culture rather than EGOTH (Egyptian General Organization for Tourism and Hotels), it is undergoing belated major repairs. Hence the museum remains closed to the public. A timeline of restoration works will appear on this page so that you can follow developments that concern us all.
